Financial transparency has become a major issue in an increasingly globalized and digitized world. Our work explores the role of digital tools in improving financial transparency, a crucial challenge for companies, governments, and financial institutions. Through a literature review and case studies, our work examines technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), open data platforms (Open Data), and cloud computing. These tools enhance the integrity, traceability, and accessibility of financial data, while reducing the risk of fraud and corruption. For example, blockchain guarantees secure, immutable transactions, while AI detects anomalies and automates auditing processes. Results show that the adoption of these technologies improves corporate governance, boosts stakeholder confidence and facilitates the management of public finances. However, challenges remain, notably in terms of cost, technical skills and data protection. Our work offers recommendations for overcoming these obstacles, such as employee training, regulatory oversight and the promotion of international standards. Digital tools represent a major opportunity to transform financial transparency, provided they are deployed thoughtfully and inclusively. Their adoption could contribute to a more equitable and sustainable management of financial resources, while strengthening trust in economic and political systems.
