Aware of the importance of the knowledge economy in the competitiveness of national companies, the university is currently positioning itself as a key territorial actor in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, moving from the traditional mission of teaching and training to the integration of entrepreneurship in the academic career of students.
Many researches have been interested in explaining the concept of university entrepreneurship by analysing a major phase of the entrepreneurial process: the entrepreneurial intention. Our research aims firstly to identify this notion of intention by positioning itself upstream of the entrepreneurial process and secondly to analyse the explanatory factors of this intention by drawing on the contributions of the Tounès model based on Ajzen's theory of planned behaviour and Shapero and Sokol's social dimensions of entrepreneurship (1982). To this end, an exploratory survey was conducted to analyse the main explanatory factors of entrepreneurial intention among students at the Mohammed Premier University in Oujda, in particular at the College of Technology EST.
