Pratiques de prévention du VIH/SIDA au sein des groupes mutualistes des jeunes en ville de Butembo (RDC)

Abstract

Young people being at the center of the HIV/AIDS pandemic are one of the essential elements in the solution to the problems they face in managing this pandemic. We met with young people gathered in mutual aid societies in the city of Butembo with a view to analyzing their initiatives in the area of HIV prevention an activity included in their agenda. In fact youth mutuals embody a silent revolution that of a generation taking control of its future. Thus one of the keys to the fight against HIV lies in the strenght, solidarity, and leadership of young people themselves through their mutual groups.Their organization provide a space for listening and learning through this educational activity helping to prevent the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
