Telewoking has emerged as a key solution for organizations that want to maintain their activity in a context shaped by accelerating digitalization and technological advancements, particularly Big Data and artificial intelligence, which have driven the shift toward a more flexible and efficient work approach. However, the growing adoption of this work arrangement raises critical questions about its impact on employee well-being and work-related stress. This study is based on a comprehensive literature review, including peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2015 and 2025, retrieved from major databases such as Scopus, Cairn, and ScienceDirect. The review mobilized keywords including “teleworking”, “well-being”, “work from home,” and their related synonyms, with a focus on studies published in both French and English that specifically examine the effects of teleworking on well-being and occupational stress at work. The findings indicate that teleworking has a significant effect, both positive and negative, on employee well-being, and highlight the need for organizations to develop structured and implement policies aimed at strengthening inclusion, nurturing a sense of belonging, and implementing social support mechanisms to preserve the mental health and well-being of teleworkers.
